Nutes for Outdoor City Garden

I'm starting a little garden of potted herbs outside, I know my tomato plants will respond well to the nutes I run (General Organic) but can I put things like my Basil on the same feed schedule?
 
Toms are heavy feeders.
Basil just needs all around fert...like MG
Rosemary, Lavander, anything in the sage family prefer dry infertile soil. You'll have to learn as you go. Or ask...GL
