My girls are approx 2 and a half weeks from seed. they are now in 3 gallon pots and just started a mild 160 ppm miracle grow . How should i go on from here with my nutrients. I also have fox farm big bloom for flowering.. how should i go about fertilizing with these 2. when I flower do i add the big bloom solution on top of my reg nutes?

also when should i start pruning some of the underbrush preparing for somewhat of a lollipop

Hey,
well it depends ay..

how well did they take the MG fert? Did they perk up or did the leaves claw or do they just look the same.?

also what soil are you in? As depending on what was in it to begin with ,will determine how much and how often you will feed. Aswell as how much light, air movement, temp. , RH , etc will affect your feed/water schedule.

So 160ppm, thats what,,, 0.3 ec ish... Well thats good to start, so i would suggest, sorry SUGGEST , a fert water water routine. So fert then water and water then start again if you get me. Of course i mean that as in only when they need water so your not overwatering,
so yeah do that and slowly work up your ppms. Havnt used ff so wont comment on how to use it.

Also as your only just into a 3 gallon and the plants are smallish i would try going an extra day or so between waterings to begin with, as that will help develop a root system.
I take it you have just transplanted then? As if you have you could probably wait another week or so for the plant to eat what is in the soil to begin with.

Sorry for ranting, just there are so many variables that to give a good answer you need a lot of information.

Maybe see if you can search for grows using the FF in flower to get an idea, theres plenty who use the stuff.

anyhow take it easy and best o luck.

edit. PS. You could add both the ferts in flower, just look at the labels to see what they all add up too and you will see if there is too much N or not enough K for example. Take it easy.

Depending on your soil, if you're using soil, you may not need to be adding any nutes at all right now. I don't add nutes for at least the first 3 weeks personally.

I started with organic Espoma which just has no nutrition.. clean slate as far as i know. THe soil is ph at 7 normally. I did just transplant. Looks like they are taking to the mild fertilizing as stated above 160ppm gonna knock it up to 200ppm after i do a clean non fert watering.. Yes i have been doing this switching from fertilizing to non fert so i fertilize every 2-3 waterings.

Okay,

well you seem to be clued up so not sure how much i or others can really help you....

I have been looking at there website and it would seem there potting soils have beneficial bacteria inoculated into it so an organic fert line woulda been appropriate, but what you got will work good this time and then next time will work better for you.(as you will know more about the ferts and how to use them. [you may not have to adjust pH as this can mess with the good bacteria)...

I couldn't get the fact sheet to work on the tablet so couldnt find the starting EC of your potting mix. I take it you are using their potting mix.? And not there seedling mix. Or catus mix haha,,

Just to give you an idea i fert my seedling after the first week in biobizz lightmix. And that has an ec of 1.2 if i remember right. (Personally i wont use it again as its just abit iffy for a 'potting' soil, not much of a ph buffer, hard not to have a K diff. ,,sorry ranting now,)

and i will start with an ec 0.3-0.4 (about 210ppm on the .5 i think.) and all in all im up to 1.1-1.2ec, about 840ppm. At peak flower that is.

Anyhow take it easy and best of luck. Happy growing.
