Nute burn?? Advanced nutrients

im curious to know if advanced nutrients tarantula and piranha can cause nute burn to young plants??

thats fungi , and bacteria...so i dont believe so...but bro,,,AN is over rated, the only reason they can charge as much as they do for their product is cause they go to fourms like these and post how great the product is, and aim it at MJ growers specifically...FUCK AN

im not really cought up into the hype of AN i actually looked at a grow journal with amazing results and noticed that AN was sitting there so i figured i give it a shot...whats your personal choice for nutes im pretty new and interested to learn anything helpful!!

fox farm, botanicare, bio bizz, earth juice, there is plenty of great companies not charging 70$ a quart...

always hearing good things about fox farm never heard of kushie kush but im gonna look into it thanks for the quick replys

the fungi and bacteria can cause nute burn especially in young plants, they breakdown nutes already in your soil or other medium making them much more readily available to the plants so it can cause burn. what soil or medium are you in? i use roots organic soil and only give my plants half strenght fungi and bact for the first 3 wks so the fungi and bact can breakdown the organic nutes already in the soil don't even use veg nuts till 4th wk of veg. i like AN i have used the iguana juice and really like it but i definatley think thier tarantula and pirahna are over priced try bmo's super plant tonic, or roots organisms xl, or humboldts myco madness/maximum, but you can't bitch about a company who uses smart marketing and is good at getting to their target market.

i give them credit on marketing...the best no doubt...i just hate being a target!

i can understand that. and there are definitely other products that are just as good as AN. im an organics soil guy so i really like GH's new general organics line. you can get most of the go line (besides their bud booster, bio bud) for the price of the base nutes from AN. and by the way if you do use AN their online feeding chart calculator is shit.

and i also have heard nothing but good things about the other nutes bublonichronic recommended except i don't like foxfarm! they market there products as organic but they have synthetic nutes in them. pisses me off!

yea i feel you, the bigbloom is the only 100% organic product, but the stuff works great...i really wanna try GH organic line, i just got so much FF left, maybe after this harvest.

I agree FUCK ADVANCED NUTRIENTS, If you don't use all the additives then you will end up with problems like this... MAG def i think... I've had nothing but problems when I started using AN

are you using RO water? if so you should have been using cal-mag from the start if if it wasnt already present in your medium. if you are not using RO then you probably have soft water. i use RO water and usually don't need cal-mag as there is a pretty descent amount in the roots soil i use. AN are good nutes and you dont need there whole line. there base nutes are alot better than many other base nutes but i have only used their organics line.

wow RIU gets it poppin lol thanks guys for all the helpful info im actually useing fish water with no chemicals added at all with a ph 6.4-6.7 but i noticed a couple yellow dots etc after i fed them some an treated water only a few show signs but ill deff cut back for now was reading on a timeline that said it was safe to use tarantula and piranha from the start guess not? youngins showed signs of nute burn after the first an feeding and there is no bugs present so im pretty set on it being nute burn for the soil im use scotts seedling potting soil figured that was good because it read .05-.05-.05 i cant get my hands on any good name brand soil local:(least that i know of

durbanmistyman has it right - 9 times out of 10 when someone is having that problem it's with RO water. Simple problem, simple fix, easily avoided by doing a little homework ahead of time.

I'm lucky with where I live, the municipal water here is just about perfect for anything - brewing beer, hydroponics, you name it. We've got almost an ideal balance of the right minerals.

But a lot of the ire directed towards AN is this kind of thing - people not using the nutes right, using them without regards for the wide variability of water quality, stuff like that.

The only nutrient FF markets as organic is Big Bloom, which it is.

and by the way just started using the general organics line from GH. not only is it organic it is vegan not that vegan really matters to me but since most of the nutrients in soil in nature come from plants it makes since that plants would like bottled nutes derived from them. and by the way good bit less expensive than AN.
