I'm growing royal dwarf and northern lights autos I gave them nutrients on a Monday and Wednesday now a week and a half later I'm getting some burnt looking edges very little though and just a few yellowing leaves. It is week four and pistols are now showing on all plants will this effect the yield alot? Also when should I start giving them big bloom.

Do you have any pictures? That would help a lot. Whats your grow medium? What kind of light and wattage do you have? What is the temperature? How old are your plants, are they in veg or flower? When you start using Big Bloom depends on you. I have read though that its best to start introducing it to the plant when it shows its first preflowers. So based off what you said, I would use maybe a quarter strength dose next time you feed, but before you do that we need to figure out if your plants are suffering from nutrient burn or some other problem and the only way we can get a good idea to help you further is if you provide us with pictures and answers to the questions I asked.
We'll go from there :leaf:

Edit to add this: Whether or not this affects your yield depends on a lot of factors. So the more info you give us the better we can get that answered for you.

I appreciate your info temp is 81 I had a heat issue awhile ago but fixed it. I use ocean forest fox farms with perlite I also use fox farm nutes currently I'm using the two veg nutes in the 3 pack fox farms offers also I got 1 1000 watt full spectrum LED and 3 300 watt full spectrum LED. I began germinating them on April 11 so almost thirty days they literally sprouted in four days. I have good in and out air flow tomorrow I will put a picture of it up so you can get a better idea of what I'm talking about. The tips of like 3 leafs mid range look burnt. Then at the bottom a couple fan leaves have turned yellow and one fan leaf mid range. Keep in mind these are royal dwarfs so they are small guys. You can't see the nute burn on this but this is them. Like I said tomorrow I will take close ups to get an idea of what you think. Also there are 2 in one 5 gallon bucket 6 total

Actully if you zoom in you can see it on the tips of the back left plants

Just back off your nutes a little. Auto's don't need as many nutes as photo's do.
Ok so do I need to flush I have only watered them the last two times should I do this a couple more times before giving them more nutes. I appreciate all the info

Yah no need to flush just use straight water. Also take pics in regular light it’s easier to see under burple lights.

Also make INBETWEEN watering ( between FEEDs ) a regular thing.

Feed / water / water / feed

Straight watering will break up salt and nutes as it dilutes in soil.
Flushing opens a can of worms that will get you a million opinions.
If you break up the feeding and do basic plant watering between , plant will thank you.

Just make sure to only water when pots are dry. LEDs transpire less than other lights so watering may be LESS frequent.

They will not need as much feed as you think. FFOF is already heavily nuted right from the bag. Used FF a while back with autos and found I just fed once a week because it took a while to get medium drying on a regular basis.

Tip : next time try another auto on straight FFOF soil from start ( no nutes ) , you will be surprised how long that soil stays viable WITHOUT adding nutes. PH @6.3-6.5 and you are golden. FFOF is pre buffered to 6.3 right out the bag.

I can't answer that till I get better pics of your girl tomorrow. Some are saying to back off on the nutes, but it sounds like it may be a deficiency. You can start using nutes now, question is, do you need less or more? Better pics will help to determine that

Don't worry to much about it , they may slow a bit but if they are overall healthy they will bounce back.

As stated by others here just back off slightly , LED grows use less feed .
But keep CALMAG on hand , LEDs tend to use it during grow sometimes.

Are you going by FF NUTE SCHEDULE ? .... Cuz that is only a guide . You have to adjust to suit your grows - less is more .

Well at one point instead of water then feed I did a feed feed on accident so I believe that is how I got a little nite burn after that I gave them water on a Monday then a wed. Then on Friday I gave them there nutes again seemed to have helped I ordered cal mag it will be here tomorrow. Any ideas on dosing how often? With the fox farms now I'm giving say it says three of big bloom I'll give it two instead and do it every other. Currently last week they started flowering so I'm giving them the three pack FF Offers. Should I prune just the fan leaves blocking buds? I pruned some that way I'm just nervous about the stress it causes during flowering these are dwarfs so u don't get alot of yield as it is

Oh and the watering is every other day they are five gallon pots I give 32 oz and when I do water the medium is dry to my second knuckle. Will they need more water during flowering usually or does it stay consistent thank you for your feedback
