Nurtrients/PH

Do i need to ph my nutrients if im using soil? and if so what is it suppose to be at? 6.0-6.5? Or do you just have to worry about the PH of the soil?

One of the all time controversies. There are too many variables(soil content, ph of input water, type of ferts used). I myself always adjust my nutrient solution for my soil plants to 7 before watering, but I tend to have a slightly acidic soil. Thats one of those where you just have to make the best judgement for your particular application. And by the way, you want your soil to be at about 6.

ph test kit $3 test hundreds of times w/this, but you wont have to...anything you put in your soil ( ie.water,water/nutes) should be balanced first ...easy once you get the mix right and do it a few times...fish stores, pool stores will have ph up which you can add to an acidic nute mixture
