This Blue Flame was a clone that went in the ground at the end of June. While she has a little swelling to do, I'm very tempted to take her as she has a very evenly cloudy trich coating atm. I suspect waiting for the weight on her will mean going past peak THC. She has great structure for outdoors IMO. Hard nugs with a little space around them. Big calyxes. Has that not quite blueberry, blue smell to it. Very sweet. IMG_0065.JPG IMG_0024.JPG IMG_0025.JPG

This crazy bitch is scaring me. She is so picky and always unhappy about something! She has weeks left and a disappointingly airy structure. Fingers crossed she swells nicely but my hopes are dwindling. Maybe if it cools off soon. The days are still mostly above 85 here but headed down a bit now. Lucky me it's my biggest plant sqft wise. :( IMG_0023.JPG IMG_0033.JPG IMG_0034.JPG

This is a blessing..... there will only be a few left after this 10-day window passes. I've taken some branches that had been caterpiller damaged. I didn't want to go through another cold rain but have been holding out to take anything else down really. Glad I did because two days of forecasted rain turned into an hour long shower. Can I offer you this: :finger:

It's supposed to be 100° where I'm at tomorrow. So done with the heat. I'm envious.

Well, figured it's about time I come in here and end out this thread. While the season wasn't all I hoped I'm not unhappy with the outcome. I was shooting for a 3-4lb average and ended up close to a 2lb average with my largest couple going about 4.5 each. The giant Sativa pheno ended up not finishing before a major freeze ended my season. I remember someone predicting early on that my smaller starts would finish better than I expected and they were right. My biggest Orange Skunk yielded as much as my best plant from the early starts. I mostly blame grower error as it was the reveg that really shaved the weeks that allowed the smaller plants to catch up.

I was also really bummed out to find that a couple of my larger pots had been underwatered all summer long which, as it turns out, explains the runts of the bunch. When I went pulling on the stalks after harvest, I found the top 6-8 inches of soil lifting right up with the roots. Upon further inspection, it was obvious the bottoms of the pot were never really wet. The roots were curled to stay in that upper moist area in the soil. I'm sure the late addition of peat bit me in the ass and I should have pre-soaked the pots much better before planting. I'd say live and learn but fcked if I shouldn't have known better already. Guess it's REALLY pounded into my skull now! :)

All in all, I learned a bunch this season and I'm already planning for next season. I'll be shooting for the same average with a much better idea of how to make it happen!

I'll get back in here with some pics soon, thanks for following along and all the feedback and pointers!!
