Nothing new, DIY Led SMD 5050

Ok so the specifications:
LED SMD 5050 12v 1A / m
Red: 625nm
Blue: 465nm
This is not hard to make, just be really tidy and practice soldering before you begin.
First of all you are going to need the board, metal is the best material but I don't know how to work with it, I used MDF Wood.

Next you are going to need some foam to put the power supply on

So now you are going to glue the strips on the board, use a good glue because it's really important that they don't fall off, PUT THE - AND + ON THE SAME DIRECTION ALL ALONG, it makes things very much easier

Now to connect the strips use this kind of cable, it's sold as speaker cables. This is my preferred method for peeling cables, much better than scissors.

So now for the power supply you can use a pc atx, mine had 7 12v cables, they're always the yellow ones, you are going to solder all the cables in the power supply, we don't want any fire. Solder the green cable to a black cable and leave all the others free (but solder them anyway).

Now it's time to connect the strips together and to the power supply, use the bare speaker cables correctly, + to + and - to -.
