Heres a pic of my new cfl hanging lamp thing thing... whatever the hell you wanna call it. ten 14w cfls with 630 lumens per blub.

i have another one i made im using right now. it has a wider reflector wrapped in mylar and only six lights. this uses six 26w cfls with 1700 lumens per blub.
Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice. You could pack the shit out of some clones under that setup. Just make sure you have a nice HPS come flower time.

the 6 bulb one was a sheet of thin plywood, like you would find as a backer to a dresser or something along those lines. Cut some 1.5" holes in it and wrapped in mylar. I then stuffed waterproof sockets and Y sockets and wired it up. I found all my parts at home depot. the 10 bulb one is a piece of 1"x6" piece of hardwood i had laying around.

That looks really good man, I was owndering how u wired up the sockets to a power supply and if when i buy the sockets do they come with the wires.
Thamls in advance.

I wired the sockets in parallel, bringing each to a common point. then i picked up a tool replacement cord by Husky. crimped it together, and plug and mo fo in. here are a few more pics to get the idea.
