Not tall enough

this trio has like 28 days (almost 1 month) but i am not too happy with the height of them..

is this normal? i give them lights like 24 hours per day or sometimes 16 hours.. 28 degrees celsius, medium watering at 2-3 days, with some fertilizer, good soil.. 85 wats ( 4500 Lumen ) + a 26 wats ( 1240 Lumen ) lights.

should i rise the light even higher (in cm not in power)?

any idea what family it is?

any other advices for a first time grower, please do

They look pretty healthy to me. Maybe your light could be a little closer to
your plants. They say about 1" away but I'm going about 2" give them a little
room if they hit a growth spurt! Keep on growing Man!

I would not be happy with the hight either!! after a month they should look like this. You need more light!!!

Those look healthy for 28 days but very small. Your problem is light. Get yourself a 400w HPS.

These are 12 days old under (2) 400w

There's your main problem...your giving them too much food...flush your plants. You should only feed them about every 3-5 waterings...so MAYBE once a week. And it does look like they need to have the lights closer.

Just looked at your pics again...GET THOSE INTO THERE OWN POTS IMMEDIATLY. NEVER grow more then 1 plant per pot...that a BIG NO NO. There probably all root tangled and are fighting each other for the nutrients. Hence part of your problem of them being smaller. Get a fan in there as well...build those stems up.
 
hm, thats bad news for me.. i thought it would give more.. so i shouldnt delete the number of my dealer eh?

anyway, i am considering your advices but I am letting the plants grow like they were until now, same light, same pot, same environment (maybe i'll add them a bigger pot and MAYYYBEEEE an extra light in 2 weeks, if they behave and grow)

For now I've stopped adding nutrients coz i've seen some leaf tips burning, so I'll keep them up on water at 3 days only for a week or so

They wont behave and grow because you aren't giving them what they need. I have no problem with multiple plants per pot, but that thing looks like a coffee can that you're trying to grow in. Did you at least make some drainage holes in the bottom?

Simply put... you need a way bigger pot or separate pots for each plant. Some more light, if you are set on CFL's I would say at minimum 3 per plant if you are going to flower with them. And, I didn't see a fan blowing on them either which helps the stalk become strong to support growth and ventilation. I'm not ragging on you, just telling you that you will have to give them what they need in order for them to produce. Or keep your dealers number. Good luck!

OK...here's the deal...if your going to grow...GROW RIGHT. don't complain about what's wrong with your plants if your not going to listen to what were trying to tell you. Like the other guy said...not trying to rag on you...but if you want to get ANY bud at all...start doing it right.

1. Get more lights... plain and simple.
2. If your not going to seperate them..get a MUCH bigger pot.
3. Get a fan blowing on your lights...so you can move them closer to the plants without burning them...as well as 1 blowing on your plants...they need to get stronger...SOON.

Follow even SOME of our advice and you will be happier with what you are growing...good luck.
 
I grow 16 clone plants in one square meter-4 plants per 11 litre square pot as single stems and they do well. I put one in each corner. I aim for 1/2 oz dry per plant.
The plants will not be behave and grow if they have insufficient light.
 
alright, i have no problems with advices as I have read a few posts on weed growing forums before planting the seeds, which btw were just thrown into soil and just began to rise

i understand that i need more light but i wanted to make some kind of economy to light... i bought a 85 wats economic lights with cold light which behaves like a 250-300 normal wats light..

i've seen a 500 wats halogen light.. but thats gonna change my electric bill.. should that work? its not economic or anything, its just halogen projector like they put at statues in squares....

as for ventilation, the pot is placed near the bathroom door, which has like 4 grill holes at the bottom so i thought air could come through there.. but i understand i need direct ventilation to please leafs and disperse the heat form the light... so i'm gonna find some kind of air ventilation to work it out..

The halogen lamp will do nothing except create more heat. You should get another 85W like you have or buy a few regular CFL's and use them. I understand trying to pinch a few pennies, but honestly without at least spending the money you would for a quality 1/8...you wont get much bud. If you can get this book...

Try looking for the 42W daylight 6500K cfl's...there not that expensive. Get about 3 of those and some little desktop lamps. For my setup of 7 lights and 7 lamps was about $55.
 
money is an issue for myself also, but lighting, i have found you cant really get around it.. they need good light. go outside tomorrow at noon and look directly at the sun, that is what you are trying to mimic as close as possible. it is almost impossible to have too much light. you can skimp on the rest of your setup and still get results, but without good lighting, you are taking a risk for nothing and wasting money.

sorry to get in your convo but i need some ASAP

my plants germintaed last week. they look great ..BUTT.

im wanting to do a SCROG. but my last plant grew staright towards the lights with no nodes or nothing just a single straight stem
what do i need to do to get about 2-5 colas from a 2 foot plant??
