Not sure of the next step to take

I have been vegging plants in dwc for 2 and a half weeks. They've grown up to an average of 16 inches tall in this time. The leaves started to curl under on the leaf edges and the tips. The tips aren't burnt at all and the ppm/pH is 500/5.7. Res temps average 68-71 degrees at the most.

--The roots underneath seem underdeveloped for their size.

Most people have said it is either a nitrogen toxicity or a temperature/humidity problem. I have a hard time believing its a toxicity since they are so big, but then again the root systems are smaller than they should be. Temperature is 65 at night and 75 during the day, humidity is between 40-50%.

I am about to do a res change and was wondering if I should make any changes to my nutrient strength or ratio. Thanks in advance, sorry I cannot take pictures. Thanks,

Dicot :hump:

Highly doubt you have a N problem at 500 ppm.. if anything you should be feeing them more. In DWC you don't need to have large roots as long at the plant is happy..

What Nutes are you using,

R.O water with General Hydroponics three part in a 1-1-1 ratio of grow/micro/bloom, plus 5 ml/gal of calmag. Plants have thick stalks and lots of side branching.
