not sure...nute burn?

so yeah. this is my first grow, and i have 10 plants that are almost 2 weeks in veggie. im growing them indoors, in soil, using 18-6-8 food, and using tap water that i leave outside for a day, for watering.

i think i might be using the wrong food? should i get something that is higher in everything, something like 20-20-20? none of the other plants are doing this.

whoa those plants are stretched, man thats one problem. otherwise... the leaf doesn't look bad in my opinion
 
its nute burn, 2 weeks old in soil? you don't need any kind of fertilizer for at least 1 month of veg. soil has nutrients in it already.
 
hmmm. i guess a flush is in order. but the fertilizer i am using is like a slo release pellet. i just trans planted them today but put fertilizer in the soil as well. should i move them again to soil without fertilizer?
 
not one thing about that says nuteburn. not ONE! and yet u get two people to agree...lol
much more likely caused by a high PH from the tap water.
as for 20 20 20 more isnt always better. that mix u have going is fine for vegging just be very light on it til they grow up.
 
2 weeks into veg he is using nutes... its a safe guess that is what it probably is... even if it isn't not adding it may change ph for better or worse.

well it is a guess.. because i never had problems with my plants before.

btw, "even if it isn't" is actually one variable because its getting rid of that variable completely... did you flunk biology or chemistry in high school?

i'm not mad at u for putting a guess out there. its not a terrible guess considering he is feeding early. plus after he corrects the ph problem he may get nuteburn if he has a lot of nutes built up in the soil. all im saying is that u should let the person know that u are only guessing. otherwise they rush into it and flush when they have a deficiency, making the problem worse, u never know..

well if you read carefully what i said the first two times i never actually said it was nute burn at all, however i said it would be a good idea to not use fertilizers atm anyways.. that was my point
