Not sure if i screwed up and should start over

Hello all,
I'm making a stealth PC grow room from scratch. I know many don't like this idea and are going to tell me not to but this is the only real way i can grow due to the fact its the least suspicious (I'm a tech geek).

Right now I'm just trying to grow some regs due to the fact id rather fuck that up then something worthwhile.

Im using a rather small case to start with because i dont have the money but hope to go to a larger one rather soon. The light i am using is a floresent blub and im using a 5-15 gallen air pump.

Here is where the problem is, A few days after i put my germenated seed into my setup the outter part of the seed came off leaving me with a non-green leef like thing. (obviously i havent grown before.....) Now it has stoped groing and the roots are less white and more clear then when i planted them. After talking to a friend i think i may have put WAY too much nutrients in to the water. What do you guys think i should do? start over or see if i can recover this one. (PS i only have a singal plant im not even sure if its a female)

Need to do some more research . I dont think this is going to work to well for you . If you dont cover your res. your going to have an alge problem to start with. I also think you started your nutes to soon. I dont use nutes for the first 3 weeks , then I only use 1/4 of whats recommanded .

Dude ...

Seeds don't need any nutrients, they contain their own, placed there by the God of Nature.

And on the grow space ... you'll have to start the flowering cycle when the plants are three inches tall, in order to have six inch plants at the end. Now then, two six inch plants, ready to harvest, will propably produce a whopping gram or two of smokable bud.

There is a much better way to grow quality weed, and cheap too. Look up some of the DWC grows here on this site. Use the search engine to explore. I can see by your efforts that you're smart enough to put a good DWC unit together with no problem at all.

As i stated i was planning on getting a bigger case. The one i am looking at is 22 inches tall and im only looking enough to smoke occasionally that is really good.

Thanks that is what i feared. I dont think algy will be too much of a problem (although chances are that i am wrong) but i will keep an eye out for it.

Thank you, ill need a bunch of luck. And ill look for a DWC unit. Do you think it will be small enough to put into a PC case?

As i stated i was planning on getting a bigger case, this is it:

Also do you think that i should replace the water in to get rid of the nutrients?
