not sure how close if @ all

Had a small brown area on tip of bud ( info sugessted possible bud rot, no pic of brown area ) , pulled it off and decided to clip the rest of bud to look @ it thru usb microscope. Different areas of small bud top. I appreciate all comments in relation to finish time.

I do see a few amber trichomes in the left pic, without a pic zoomed out it's hard to gauge...

It's worth remembering that amber trichomes represent CBN, a degraded form of THC, not CBD. As soon as you start seeing amber, it's time to chop. The trichomes will continue turning for a time during the drying process.

thanks TWS, when looking @ buds throughout plant with 40x loupe, ( trying to figure usb micro to use on tablet ) not to many seem cloudy + many white pistal still showing

Nothing to worry about with that bud, bud. I would cut it real soon, if not now.

Thanks G H, it was the brown spot on top of bud that had me concerned, will continue to watch and see what comes about, needed some other thoughts can post other pics if needed, buds are only about an inch diameter been flowering since end of JUNE

thx jimdamick, for your comment. may wait a bit longer, because other areas of plant still have clear trichhomes, but could be soon ready, 1 of those unsure times

if you're still seeing white pistils, its still got a pretty good amount of time left imvho..

IMO I like half amber and half cloudy if it was me I would wait. But people have different taste so that's up to you. After looking at that 3rd pic I do see a fair amount of amber I be leave.

hi racerboy71, It's 1 of those uncertain times, but will watch over it and take a gd look @ the plant as a whole maybe some might be ready but want the best I can get. thx.
