Ive grown before. This new batch i now have in my homemade pc grow box. the seeds jsut will not sprout. im about to rip em out and plant some new seeds. any reasons why they wont sprout?

I recommend germinating before actually planting the seed. Sounds like you've got some bad eggs.

Thats the thing too when i germinated them it took about 2 weeks and they barely produced a root. idk i dont see why the seeds would be shitty guess i just need another batch

Yea, you want to choose the healthiest-looking seeds (darker in color). Did you special order these? I've personally never had a problem with intact bagseed, and I assumed the mail-order stuff to be even more reliable.

When you germinated, was your paper towel damp enough? I have had the some problem in the past because the towel wasn't moist enough. Were they on a warm surface and kept in the dark as well? Tell us a little more about your germination process so we could diagnose the problem rather than just assuming their bad seeds.

I live in a very arid place. The Mojave Desert makes it really hard to sprout like most everyone else does on RIU. That's my opinion and experience though.
I've found the paper towel method works for me but it needs some modification. Use a styrofoam plate, fold up a ppr towel into quarters and place on the plate. Dampen the towel enough to where it just holds the water, not so much it's dripping. Place your seeds on it, then set another quartered ppr towel, dampened, on top of the seeds. Next, use an opaque bowl that has some weight. . .a ceramic bowl or small microwaveable bowl works well to place upside down over the seeds, then take a gallon zip lock bag and put the whole plate set-up in the bag. Zip it up but leave about 2 inches in the center unzipped. Place in a warm shaded/dark area and you should have some seeds in a couple days.

Im havin the same prob. My seeds wont sprout either.. Its only been a couple of daze so need to be patient.. How long have you waited??

DOn't forget that after the germination process has started and that it's been planted, it can take anywhere between 2 to 7 days for the bloody buggers to sprout. And obviously, best also to not over water once in the ground, but to indeed water a little.
Oh, and it's also possible you may have accidently planted them too deep, and they're taking very long to dig their way up. I've had that problem too.
