Not Spidermites, but small Spiders?

Garbage

On occasion SWIM finds little black spiders, about the size of the tip of a pen, chilling on the plants (sometimes under the smaller buds). SWIM understands that spiders are predators and can eat the other insects that may be harmful, but just to be safe, any that are seen, are killed. Should they be left alone to help bug control, or should SWIM look into pest control?
