i dont know if this has ever been asked, could any of you suggest a mixture/version of the supersoil that isnt quite as super? im kinda looking for something hot for the bottom of my pots that isnt going to have to sit around for a month. could i just scale the amendments back like half?

im going to the grow store within the next week to get it all

Why not just go with Supersoil? Is a month of waiting that crucial to your operation that you cant wait a month for some of the best shit you will smoke

If you aren't willing to wait for a nice amended soil to cook thoroughly, maybe you should just plant right in a some good bagged soil like Roots and just feed the soil with compost tea? Of course this is much more of a pain in the ass and much less consistent than super soil, but still a damn fine method of growing.

bog uses a formula that he doesnt cook. clearly not as good as subs, just like his genetics, but it is organic, and it does work. its something like potting soil with perlite added and amended with 1 cup bone meal 1 cup blood meal per cu ft. soil. hit it with foxfarm big bloom for castings once. and feed with 1 tsp pure blend original grow/ bloom every 3rd watering. this is just a synopsis and im sure i missed some of the details. if your motivated you can find all the info on the forum he moderates.

well this is all going outdoors, so the extra month would kinda be pushing it time wise.

i obviously never plan ahead. hahaha. well actually, i didnt even know about supersoil a month ago.

ill have to look up bog's recipe but i think ill probably just go a route similar to jtrbushes suggestion. roots organic and pearlite. ill toss in some worm castings and bone/blood meal(1/4 cup each) and use a simple tea every couple weeks. think that will be too much?
