how do you know if your plant isnt getting enough light? im using 2 40w fluorescent bulbs in a tight area

If you only have two cfl's you know you don't have enough light.

for only 1 plant
are the compact floros?
That many light should be enough for veg growing, but when you start flowering your gonna want more light.

you will know when it stops growing.. that's when you switch to 12/12 and add more light!!
