not an ordinary cloning question

ok so i took my brothers plant today. its about 1 month old and it has 4 levels. 2 nodes of 2 leaves and 2 nodes of 3 leaves to just to give you an idea of how big it is. The problem is he grew it in a window sill and it strecthed. i noticed today the stem was dead only so far up tho from the soil. i cut it perfect and you would with cloning got some root hormone and put it in a dome at 90% humidity. what are my chances that thing is gonna sprout new roots and survive till summer for my outdoor grow.

Cut it perfect you mean at an agle right, and slit the stem a little or cut off part of a side of the stem and or including hopefully one node cut off.

If you cut it straight just recut it, watch the "i grow chronic" video's on youtube to see how it's done right.

If you do that exactly like he does with the same setup and lights and all your odds are good. Not great, may have other health issues who knows and trying to clone a stem isn't always as easy as a branch either.

But do exactly what he does, and you give it extra time even if it doesn't seem to be rooted at 14 days as long as it's not dead let it take it's time if need be.
