Northern Lights x Shiva

Hey all. My first grow ever and excited as hell. I have posted my setup and a few pics in random threads but I'll put it all together now.

SETUP:
8 - 23w 6500k
4 - 23w 2700k

SOIL:
*looks at ground and mumbles*
MG potting mix

NUTES:
None at the moment

I germed 21 seeds, 12 popped, and I was left with only 1 that survived. Talk about bad genetics. It was just some bagseed from not-so-good grass.

The big one is my NLxS. My friend started it for me a little over a month ago since I didn't have my lights set up. He's using a 4bulb T5.

So without further a do... pics!! AND A LOT OF THEM.

Good luck with the grow. I'm growing pure NL in my thread if you would care to take a look? I see the same vigour in that plant of yours.

Thanks mature. I actually did take a peek at your thread and wow. Looks real good. I'm debating on whether or not I should change light cycle today or not. I should probably get some nutes for flowering though.

On a side note, maybe I'm seeing things but it looks like it might have 4 main colas. I really don't know. talk about a noob.

Ya i'd say about 4 cola buds.. this is a bush though , its all cola's lol .Nice NL plant man :clap:

Damn dude. All 3 pics are beautiful. Sh*t I wish I could drop some seeds outside and let her take off. Living in residential probably isn't the best place for that though...unless you stupid (which I'm not). Thanks for checkin out my grow. Smoke on!

No doubt about it, outdoors they reach full potential :-)

Hope its OK to post a pic of my Northern Lights Bush here? Taken a couple of years back as she just started to form buds.

Anyway, I'm subscribed to your thread I want to see her flower :-)

^It's all good if you show a few pics bro. I'm definitely going to switch to flower this weekend. I have to make sure my space is 100% light-leak proof.
I also have a new camera in the mail so I can take much better pics. I'll be back after I switch her over. Day or two. Until then, let the world go GREEN :weed:

Sorry for the teasing guys. I've decided to wait another week to flower since funds are low and I need more equipment. Payday is coming up soon though.
I measured my baby and she stands at a solid 16 inches tall.

Question. What's a good affordable smell eliminator? I've got an ionizer in the room (not the closet where she is) but there is still a slight hint of yummy stuff in the air.
I might as well ask also what some good nutes for flowering are?

I would use foxfarms tiger bloom for flowering nutes but dont know what you should get to get the smell away.... :leaf:

just looked threw my hightimes and ONA mist looks like it would work very well

Good luck with your grow! I have tried to grow NLxShiva from Nirvana a couple of times now but only get male plants. The last time I kept one male (man did he stink!) alive and pollinated a blue cheese and a belladonna. I just did one branch of each. I have a few seeds from each female but haven't had time to grow them out yet so I'll be interested to see what NLxS looks like (mature and female). Thanks!

I need some reassurance from anyone. I need to know 100% if this baby is female. I understand that females will have the white hairs at the nodes but I don't see any. I don't so any what could be pollen sacs growing so I really just want to be sure. also, the camera I use is kinda shitty and doesn't have a super-macro setting so I can't get very close. I'm kinda stressin here.

When you get a better pix post it. The bottom pix on your post shows maybe a little ball but I can't tell for sure. You should be able to see pollen sacks by now or white hairs??

Thats just it. I don't see pollen sacs but I don't see any white hairs coming out either? I also have a potential problem.
I don't have funds right now for nutes and I'm 98% sure she's got a nitrogen deficiency. What can I do right away? A lot of the bottom leaves
are very small and light light green, almost yellow and some have even fallen off/died. I don't want this baby to die! I get paid friday. Will it make it till then?

That I do not unfortunately. Would it be better to give it some veg nutes until the underleaves get healthier, or can I just get flower nutes and do it up?

Well its been almost a damn month since I said I was going to start flower and I finally got my bulbs and just switched them today.

Left one is just bagseed/right one The Bitch

Lights go off at 6 P.M.

I also took a clone from her so I can keep this line going. It took about 3 1/2 weeks to get to this point, but I'm more than happy...

To all of you suscribed, I apologize for the wait. I had a hard enough time keeping this baby alive over the last week as I've been sick.

Woot!! Does this count as Day 1?
