OMG, this is what I've been looking for!

Im a sales professional in fort collins and due to the nature of my job, and exposure, I have only one or two friends who can relate with me on this topic. No one else would ever guess I hold a card - much less grow. Im usually pretty busy and/or traveling but I would love to meet up with a few like-minded at some point to when Im able.

Had a great time everyone, Great Grama's chili is spicier than I remember! Hope everyone liked it, I saw everyone sweating  I know I was.

Thanks for having me again indi, it was really fun (other than the long drive  ) can't wait for the next gathering; I think I will bring an old Tri Tip recipe next time :eyesmoke:

Also, thanks to everyone for getting me overly medicated! I don't remember half the screen names of those that showed up, so send a friend request to me if I didn't get one out your way bongsmilie

All, we had a great time yesterday! Thanks, Indi, for hosting, and everyone else for the great conversations and smoke! Definitely looking forward to the next time -- and perhaps breaking out some green chile! Just, seriously, everyone, we had a great, great time!

Oh, and, Rae, my wife said to give you her rave reviews of the blondie, too! We ate them last evening, and sort of melted into the couch. But before doing so, we both commented on how they were the best baked goodie edibles we've had! Nicely done!

Thanks again, everyone! Cheers!

So when is the next BBQ? Lol, seriously how often does everyone get together, would love to participate and would like to see it happen monthly. It feels good to belong to a community like this as everyone brings varying skills, opinions and technics to the table that it is always good to sit and chat with others. Not to mention getting seeds (thanks Hotsause! We will be popping some any day), smoke, edibles and good food is always a keeper in my book!

Would consider hosting sometime in october for a halloween theme'd weekend day of fun if someone will do a september BBQ.
Halloweed Denver Octoberfest BBQ!
Are Sundays best for most people? Or would a friday or saturday work better?

Sat/Sun works for me (any time of the year, I will try and show up with tons of food), the wife works mon - fri and has weekends off (and most major holidays too), but she also gets vacations days easily, so if its on a fri; as long as I have a few days to a week notice I can show up  .

Also, I will need a few days notice for whatever food I'm bringing (I will always try and bring enough food to feed everyone! Those who choose to host us, it's the least I could do to help ;-) ).

You have no idea how much I love that graphic! I'm a huge halloween fan! In fact, just this morning, my wife relented and said I could start pulling out the decorations! But back to the question at hand, that sounds great to me! We're usually free on weekends, with adequate notice, but don't have much preference on which day. Keep us posted on what you're thinking.

Cheers!
