Normal for seeds to be cracked from breeder?

Hello all, I just recieved my order of extreme indica from female seeds. Well they came in the original breeder bag and were completely seal so i know the reseller(EDIT) had nothing to do with it. Anyways i opened up the package and i see that some almost to all the seeds are cracked, like where the root is suppose to come out. Anyways i just placed one seed in a shot glass and it looks like it will germinate. But the question is, Is this normal? because i have never received seeds that where cracked. Maybe female seeds does something to them thats why they are cracked, they claim 99.9% feminized

Any thoughts?

Maybe i can contact the breeder and notify them that my seeds are all cracked, maybe they will send me another fresh batch of seeds xD

i've never seen nor heard of seeds coming cracked.. would love to see a pix of what your talking about though..
the only advice i can give you is what you seem to be doing.. try and germ a few of them and see what happens..
btw, i would also take some pix of them just in case they don't crack, you'll have something to show the breeder..

only problem your gna have is if you tell them u germed them, better to just say something like "the souvenirs you sent me were unfit for purpose should the law ever change these souvenirs do not look like they would germinate due to being cracked" as due to local law they are not allowed to discuss germing seeds as its illegal in the UK.

Im going to need a magnifying glass because my camera does not see the small cracks on macro, anyways there no need to worry they germed, plus in the 5 pack i bought i have a undeveloped seedling and its like 1/3 the size of the other ones, but they gave me 5 developed ones so its good stuff =). Anyways thx for the advice seems strange though that no one ever had this before.Ill try to get a magnifying glass and take a pic.
