noobie question

I have a 5x5 tent with 1 600hps light and I use 6.5qt pots, and have been growing six plants at a time and have done ok. i want to do 10 plants. Will this be enough light. I know it may not be ideal, but would the other 4 plants even be worth growing, or would they just be a waste?

...dude, I have cram'd over 40 plants under 1 single 600w HPS. It all depends on the size of the plants. If you flower straight from rooting clones, you can put many, many more under a 600.

i have been growing from seed and usually start flowering at about 18-24 inches. attached is a pic of the last plant i harvested from my last grow. They were all about this size when done.

...here pics below, I had 14 plants under a 600 HPS, all in 2 gallon pots. They veg'd for 2 weeks before flowering.

...sure, that grow was a strain sample, I still got 3/4 of a pound. (pure power, blue cheese, NLx Big Bud, NLx skunk)

if you only veg for 2 weeks you can use smaller pots....
