The DEA doesn't have the time or resources to go after small time growers. They get involved in huge investigations of large operations. Even if someone called the DEA and told them I had a few plants in my closet I don't think they would raid me. The biggest concern is with the local Establishment unless you live in a mmj state and have a card or authority to use your medication. Also home stealth is important. Even if you are legally allowed to grow it in your state you should not flaunt the fact that you can grow it.
