I'd say as long as you aren't growing a shit load at a time and trying to sell it. A few here and there for personal consumption is hardly worth the man hours to track you down on the internet.

If you are REALLY worried, use the program TOR. It basically masks your IP, without getting too technical.. There are plenty of tutorials online.
