Hey, So my situation is a bit odd. I have my medical card to grow, and have been growing 10 plants for a year now. I recently switched my license to a designated grower to grow for me which will take into effect by the summer. Anyways, since i was doing perpetual growth cycles, i have 5 plants that were intended to go under my 1000 watt bulb in my system, but since my license is changing i will be moving those 5 plants out doors in may/june at my DG residence. I have never grown out doors. i am confused with alot but my DG and I are working through it.

I am currently using a 6500k sun blaster light bulb, soon buying a second. I have never seen such a good light to use that doesnt require a ballast. I am growing them on a 20/4 cycle, using flora series (micro, grow, bloom) nutes. at this stage they are at now feeding them 1 L water every time between the 3 big plants (have not watered small ones yet will be feeding the small ones on a different schedual). This is my nute sched the 3 big ones are on are on:

day 1 - Nutrient water (10ML micro, 10 ML grow, 5 ML bloom)
day 2 - plain water
day 3 - nothing

and i have been repeating that for the past 2 weeks. they seem to be really loving the light and nutes, they are growing massively each day. The 2 small plants you see where planted in those cups 3 days ago, and now are 4inch tall. The bigger ones have been in under that light no longer then 9 days and were put under there at 4inch tall. These plants will be transplanted into 3 gallon buckets, bottom layer soil, then a mix of peatmoss/perlite/virmiculite. I will be breaking the bottom of the plastic buckets when we dig the holes to put them outside so the roots can grow out and the plants can grow massive. these plants will be protected from nature and animals.

I know enough about marijuana to grow a decent crop, but again i know nothing of outdoors. What I am asking is for some info on personal crops you have done out doors, and especially if you have grown in northern canada. (i live in northern ontario). what am i going to need to know? what type of nutes do i use when i put them outside and how often do i nute them and give them water?

I will be doing a 'cola harvest'. meaning i will be stripping the plant of all bottom brush/leaves/stems so the energy in the plant is concentrated on the colas to make them fat and thick, rather then a bunch of small colas everywhere. (anyone know any good method on how to do this really well? like when do i start to strip the plant of all bottom brush, always or just before budding?) I will also be 'topping' my plants, meaning to cut the top 1/2 branches off so all brances around can start to fight and stretch for the light.

When its time to put them out side, i will be putting them in a shaded spot for a week before moving them into their holes where direct sunlight will reach them, i believe it will give them a good enough chance without too much shock. putting them directly in sunlight seems like it would be too much of a shock.

I am mainly concerned about the kind/dosage of nutes i shud be using, ive never been good at knowing what the plants want. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
