nodes turning purple??

if the branches at each node start turning purple is this natural?? or is the plant stressed?
its in veg stage and is not a purple strain.
 
I don't remember exactly but I think it's a nutrient deficiency of some sort..

There's an article on one of the sticky's that describes all sort of problems associated with plant problems
