Wanted to let you know that I'm seeing some crystals on the bottom popcorn bud leafs. I have a few other questions.
Any way to tell when to harvest if you don't have a microscope?
When do they turn all of the funky purples, and such if that is the strain?
What causes it the purple buds?

You can purchase an inexpensive illuminated mini-scope from Radio Shack for a little over $12.00 and it will more than clearly show you your trichomes.

How about the Purple buds. I know that it is a strain type, but what causes it and when does it happen?

I always had problems with the loupes, eyes just getting old. Now I take macro shots with my camera which makes it easy to zoom in.
