No till in 100 gallon fabric pot in 4x4 tent

I've never grown an auto before. But if you take a look at people's little microgrows growing autos, a lot of them are growing huge colas in what look to be bonsai trays. Most are chemical grows through due to the difficulty of getting proper nutrient cycling going in 2 square feet of growing space.
that seems legit,I guess if nothing else I can at least make a grow log for others to see. And use it as sort of a experiment.

I once grew 2 plants in a single 30 gallon container, turned into a massive bush even after topping several times. By the end of flower it was bursting out the 4x4.

Organic grow, used blumats to water consistently from reservoir. You lose a lot of accessibility and height with such large pot size. I suggest staying with 7 gallon and below for indoor.

I use Grassroots no till beds from buildasoil. They are 18 inches high and hold 45 cuft of soil. In a 4x4 id raise it up 6 inches or so. Knowing me id just drag some cinder blocks downstairs and thrown on a piece of plywood. that put the top of the bed 24 inches off the ground. ad 20 inches to the top of a scrog is 44 inches. if your tent is 80 inches that would leave ya 34 inches. to top of tent. If your in LEDs then you should be good. make sure your tops stay in that 18 inch from the top of the screen and profit.

I understand the mobility issues my step dad has Degenerative disc disease. we have his bed set up on the ground and got him a mechanics stool for him to wheel around the tent. We have his bed in a tent and he can get to all 3 sides of it while sitting on the stool. we have the scrog screen set at the height he can stand and pull stuff down. then he can sit and trim under the screen. We were very sure of our measurements and him so he could do it. DDD is crippling at times. so we make sure to keep him active and growing his medicine. He does 4 plants in that. we have a little veg area set to the side that the perfect height so he can walk up to it and everything is right there at arms height.

I have mobility issues and a 15g when wet was a bitch to move, shit spinning her was hard. If you go big expect it to stay where you put it. Would think it would help out somewhat not having to move it. Thats a lot of medium in 16sq ft. Wouldnt a 4x4 tray work? If raised up a bit? Just a thought, good luck!

Absolutely perfect. Beautiful work.

Super helpful not having to move pots, even without mobility issues. Gardening of any sort can be brutal on one's back if not careful. Does seem like that's a lot of medium in 16 sqft, but its actually not all that bad. Only a little more than 10g per plant since he has 9 in what looks like a 100g pot to me.

As long as the 4x4 tray isn't one of those flimsy hydroponic ones, something along those lines should work just fine.

However, my recommendation will always be something like this pot here. Only 1ft tall and, so perfect for tents as that 100g pot will fill a 4x4 area perfectly. That pot will fit 6-12 plants (strain dependent) with ease, each plant getting between 8-16 gallons of soil. Fraction of the price of one of those hydro trays too.

Absolute easiest and best way to do things indoors now, IMO. Way less work, so perfect for those with mobility issues, and also perfect for preventing anyone from experiencing mobility issues. Trust me, years worth of playing in dirt and moving pots are can quickly take its toll if one isn't cautious.

This way, instead of top dressing multiple pots, you just top dress the one pot. Also don't have to water a ton of pots either, just the one. Cover it with mulch and you'll be set for a couple years in that set up. Only need to top dress and water. Shouldn't have to empty that pot out for a couple of years or so.

Regards.
