It's a more sophisticated world than it was 25 or more years ago. MUCH more of the stuff you buy is grown from feminized seed, what we always called sinsemilla. No bag seed to work with! On the flip side, it used to be that ordering seeds to grow was a major production, and now it isn't. Call any of 2 dozen seed houses, and for not much over $50, they will ship seeds from any of dozens of strains right to your door. If you're in more of a rush, maybe there is a local dispensary that carries seeds. In my area, there are probably a dozen within an hour's drive. Several are outlets for major seed breeders. You can get a handful of beans for what it costs to take the missus out for dinner.
