No new growth on nodes...help lol

Ok so i have been vegging this bagseed for about 7 weeks now have had some problems with heat stress and just now getting her going again. Topped it about a week ago and has nice green new growth with about 6" stalks on both.

Now the nodes are alternating and there is very little to NO new growth in the nodes. Is it time to put her in 12/12 now? I should know this being this my 4 th yr growing but have never had this situation...

Help is much appreciated thanks!!

after topping growth slows down or even halts for about a week. You should start seeing growth during the next week. Let it veg another week or two then throw it into flower. Another thing is pot size..have you transplanted into its final pot yet? If not you should do so before you flip to flower. Do a quick flush to deplete the soil of veg nutes to get it ready for flower nutes and to rid the soil of any toxic salts that might have built up in veg.

All new soil, organic soil at that. I never had the node growth halt before like this. Its n its final pot, 5 gal. Only nutes is an organic blend of my own that i have used the past four yrs n never had probs. Im using a 4 lamp fluor t12 and a 2 lamp ho t5 mixed with two 43 w 2700k cfls. Im planning on starting 12/12 next weekend regardless just bugging me that the node growth isnt there yet after a week n a half almost two weeks. All other topped aeeas are fine btw

but yea I agree with jpockets .. give it a week more in Veg .. no point in starting 12/12 if it is stund and dont grow .. fix the problem fist ..

new tops are growing fine. No yellowing of new growth or anything doesnt look like its wanting to show preflower, looks just as it should in veg despite the non node growth.

I just realized i said 7wks i meant 4 lol.

That's normal, lower nodes usually don't develop much.
It's like the plant knows its not worth it.
