No ducting grow cab

Hello all,
I finally got my seeds and so Im ready to make the final push to start my first grow.
Ive decided to stack my Scythe Kaze 3k RPMs into a little DIY scrubber.

Ill only be growing 1 plant in a 23sft dresser. This will be my trial plant and while Im going to do my best to keep her alive Im not expecting huge hauls of goodies.

Anyway, the last problem to my box is ducting. I cant have it. The best I can do is a straight pvc pipe from an L elbow pipe into a box drilled with holes and filled with rags/old clothes.

My box is louder than Id like it to be but the majority of the sound is the sound from the "whoosh"/air flow.

Ive read forums of mufflers/ insulated ducting/ etc but I cant do any of that because all I got are my PC fans and the "pencil cup diy scrubber".

The kaze can push through the cups (how effective itll be at flowering IDK yet), but its still loud (the whoosh). Will having it push through the pvc pipe into a box with clothes and stuff drilled with holes help with that sound?

Much appreciated!

Hey Tim. Yea I bought a 9v ac/dc adapter but its taking FOREVER to come in from china... and whats more scary is Ive ordered from china before and have had DOA adapters. Keeps my hopes up tho! Thanks for your input

I bought a aadjustable, voltage one from amazon, has like six different voltage settings, I think it was around ten bucks, I am running my fans at five volts super quiet

mind telling me the product name? those sound more like a good investment plus I wont have to keep snipping and skinning my fan wires to adjust to a larger voltage

just cut off the end and strip the wires, solder them to your fans, or use connnectors from the hardware store, 2000 ma should power several pc fans from the same power supply, then just slide the switch and listen to your fans, and chose the power setting that gets the job done
