Hello all,
I finally got my seeds and so Im ready to make the final push to start my first grow.
Ive decided to stack my Scythe Kaze 3k RPMs into a little DIY scrubber.
Ill only be growing 1 plant in a 23sft dresser. This will be my trial plant and while Im going to do my best to keep her alive Im not expecting huge hauls of goodies.
Anyway, the last problem to my box is ducting. I cant have it. The best I can do is a straight pvc pipe from an L elbow pipe into a box drilled with holes and filled with rags/old clothes.
My box is louder than Id like it to be but the majority of the sound is the sound from the "whoosh"/air flow.
Ive read forums of mufflers/ insulated ducting/ etc but I cant do any of that because all I got are my PC fans and the "pencil cup diy scrubber".
The kaze can push through the cups (how effective itll be at flowering IDK yet), but its still loud (the whoosh). Will having it push through the pvc pipe into a box with clothes and stuff drilled with holes help with that sound?
Much appreciated!
