No buds on one branch

There is one branch on this plant that has not started flowering yet. The rest of the plant is in full flower, just this one branch with only female preflowers on it. I looked at it closely to see if there was balls anwhere, possible hermi, but nothing. Is this very common? Anyone with experience like this? Should I cut it off or let it grow? Here's a couple pics. You can see it in the second photo on the right side.
