NL Auto flower outdoor

This season will be my 3rd grow and the second in which I started from seed, so I am novice learning from the internet and a little advice from a decent hydro store locally.

Along with the photo period seeds I germinated 3 auto flower two of which sprouted and only one of which remains today, this was end of April. My first impressions were not very optimistic because I near had 100% gemination rate with my regular seeds that were at least a couple seasons old.

It certainly took its time I kept it under a t5 grow light in a solo cup for about a month at the same time once it developed its 5th node I topped it above the 3rd and it split beautifully and new branches actually developed below the cotyledon that as of today (day 70ish from seed) they will produce a respectable cola. It was transplanted once from the solo cup into a 3 gallon smart pot at the end of may and it was then put outdoors.

Reason Im posting this as I am just blow away how easy this plant was to grow and how its circumvented many difficult days ahead I will be having with my photo sensitive plants with damper weather in the fall. I certainly will consider growing more then one next season for this reason.

My only regrets are that I didn't put it into a 5 gallon smart pot instead of the 3, I didn't really know what to expect lots of different info on what is right and what is wrong when growing an auto but in my experience topping and transplanting one that is outdoors works just fine.

I will post more pictures and update as it gets closer to harvest I am expecting late july early august.

Here is another pic to show the branching, I followed basics of the uncle bens sticky for all of my photos I topped above the second node after the 5th node developed, under the t5 grow lights that bought me some time to keep them inside and it didnt appear to slow them down much at all.

With the Auto flower I topped it above the 3rd node once the 5th developed, I was unsure of the amount of time I would have for it to veg out and lots of stuff I read said you can't or should not top/transplant autos well I broke both rules and am glad I did.

Also a great tip I used for the first time this season that I learned on this forum was transplanting seedlings and burying the stems, it worked flawlessly.
