Hey guys and gals... got a few plants here that are about 55 days old, still in veg... Fox Farms Ocean Forest, pH is about 6.9 last time I checked the runoff... getting some yellowing on the lower part of the plant and just a few brown tips... nitrogen def., right?

Thanks,
Josh

it could be the start of nitrogen def. but it looks more of a toxic salt build up me. i mean i have plants in FF ocean forest right now just entering pre flowering and are just starting to show signs of nitrogen def. but that is normal. but are you feeding it any fertilizers right now? are you breaking up the top soil so the roots are getting enough water in the root ball? if not just add some liqiud soap to break it up or just use a fork and make it even. hope that hels get back to me.. peace CRIPPLED!bongsmilie

I suppose you're probably right about it being salt... I had my first 30-day flush scheduled for 8/11, but decided not to do it as I was just mostly giving them clean water and SuperThrive... some of the soil at the drainage openings of the pot have white all over...

Just did a flush... got a look at some of the other leaves... still look like salt? Been having a hard time finding a pic from someone else to help me identify it... ack... Thanks!

using all-mix, plants are 15 days old with no feed yet, some leaves are showing signs of necrosis, looking burnt, is this a nitro deficiancy?

that happened after flush?
how much ph`d water did you use? 3 times the pot size?

no that happened before the flush... started feeding them a couple weeks ago... I flushed yesterday... flushed with 6 gallons pHed water, they are 3 gallon pots...

let it dry up real good. then give it 1/4 nutes next feeding. make sure you get run off everytime and get real dry in between. they will do better on the dry side
