About cutting the fan leaves, It's not a good Idea.
The plant naturally grows leaves for photosynthesis.
Try cutting your leaves off during veg and see what happens.
The plant will slow down, this is the same in flowering.
You had great buds don't get me wrong, but they could have been bigger.
What I do instead of cutting off leaves I start at the bottom of the plant and move up grabbing all large leaves. I take the large leaves and bend them beneath all the nearby tops. This allows all the light to hit all the bud sites or at least most of them. You get the benefit of removing the leaves out of the way without cutting them.
They are still intact and still receive a lot of light due to the large surface area. The main reason why leaves get so large is so that they can receive more light and increase root, stem and bud production. Use this "Leafing Method" or "LMING" I have developed and it works out great. Not only are large fan leaves beautiful, they are very valuable and the plant knows what it wants and needs, and it grows them for a reason. If there aren't many tops to place the large leaves beneath then you can SuperCrop the leaves. Never completely remove perfectly healthy green leaves and you will notice the difference. Also the plant will naturally kill off almost all large leaves during the flowering stage. You will see them yellowing and thats the plant saying this leaf is no longer needed. You can remove really unhealthy yellowing leaves. This is by far one of the best documented Journals ever, thank you for showing me the potential of my new beast White Widow plant. I'll be posting a Grow Journal about my white widow, ams, haze #1 and #2, strawberry haze, lemon skunk, great white shark, lowryder purple gems, white rhino and the church.
