Nirvana Seed Co. ICE....?? Any one grow??

I have grown ICE but not from Nirvana.

I got my seeds from www.buydutchseeds.com

I am pretty sure they are from the same strain since most of BDS and Nirvana's descriptions for the seeds are word for word.

It turned out really good and for me it was a small plant. It was super white, I guess why they named it ICE.

To me it was not nearly as potent as a White Widow or White Rhino but still got me blazed. Able to go out and be productive rather than vegging and playing Video Games

10 out of 10 Germinated but I lost 4 for unknown reasons. Also it does have a slight fuel smell like they describe. Kind of like keerosene

It is a little expensive and I think there are better deals out there.

I will tell you exactly why the descriptions are word for word. Nirvana prides itself in stealing/copying reputable seed banks genetics, You know it's a-lot of work making cheap imitations of LEGITIMATE seed banks hard work, leaves little time to come up with an original description so they copy that to. Quit making the shady ass pirates of the cannabis world richer instead invest in better genetics from a reputable breeder.

grown it 5 or 6 grows now. It has two phenos, unless you have lots of room, go for the short pheno. Very easy to grow, but takes more like 75-80 days to flower, not 8-9 weeks as Nirvana claims. As potent as the afgani and WW that occasionally goes around here, and beats the piss out of the mids that people try to get $35 an 1/8 for.

I think I may have ended up with the shorter phenotype. I got the beans from Nirvana, and I always order feminized beans. Never order regular.. but that's my choice.

Anyhow, I germinated two of the five beans.. they germinated within 36hrs. This specific pheno is also a quick grower. Or for me it has been.. as each grow will never be exactly the same... so someone that has the exact pheno/strain as I have.. theirs may not grow as quickly as mine might.. simply due to the grow area and its surroundings. Such as temps; humidity; nutes; etc...

This is my first grow with the 'ICE' strain from Nirvana. I've been really impressed with it so far.. Both plants are the same age, 27 days old total; with 20 of those days being veg cycle; and the remaining 7 days being flowering. Both plants already have little preflowers starting to develop at the nodes of each set of branches... so yeah I'm very impressed with this strain so far. Also, on both plants, both are starting their 5th set of branches or (5th set of true leafs)...

I've not fed them with any nutes yet.. just molasses and water. But at the end of week #2 flowering (todays day #1 of second week flowering) so next Wednesday will be the start of week #3 of flowering.. and its also the week when I will start introducing both plants to small amounts (light mixtures) of flowering nutes.

But all in all... I would def. suggest this strain to anyone that has not yet given it a try. Very good plant.. also I must mention the fact that.. they are a very hardy plant.. and also a forgiving strain.. to a certain point.

Anyhow, be watching for pictures.. as I'll be posting pics of both plants.. once they get to be around 5 weeks or so into flowering.. so show off the pretty plants and buds that will be forming and maturing.

Lastly, anyone else that has grown this strain from Nirvana, if you have any tips or input about this strain, sure would be appreciated if you were to share that information with everyone.

Really nice looking seedlings...stolen genetics or not...I popped 3 seeds out of the fridge the cracked under 48hrs and put them in cups Foxfarm soil. R/O water & CalMag. Now I found in Vons 200 watt CFL's 6500K that only draw 42watts each. So I got a dome reflector from dixieline with an extension so the lights will fit under dome its about 10 inches. I then screwed in a "Y" socket fitting and have 400watts in a small hutch cabinet with 3 beautiful babies in 1 gal pots. I am going to trans into 5gals and then put in mother room take cuttings mark them flower mamas ..Of course smoke them and see which lady I love the most the drop the other 2 and start making a family for a space under one of the lights. =) My Gr has ....watts so don't judge me....The cfl's are just really neat they will veg awesome for little cost

In this case that accusation's neither here nor there because Buy Dutch seeds is clearly selling Nirvana seeds... they're a reseller of Nirvana strains. All of the Nirvana descriptions you find on the web are actually old texts from the Nirvana seedbank itself (if you check their own site it's the same texts only slightly better written).

Ive grown Nirvana Ice, mine where 12/12 from seed under a 1000w hps/soil/Advanced Nutes. Got 4 females out of 7 that came up. They were bushy with thick brown hairs and dark green leaves. They took a heavy feeding schedule without getting burnt. Got around 55grams dry per girl. Seed to finish was 75-80 days. They look nothing like that silly picture most seedbanks have of a light blue bud shot.

You don't know what you are talking about, seed banks use descriptions provided from breeders... Nirvana is the source, a breeder, not a seed bank... Nirvana is a reputable breeder, not a seed bank as you call them...

Ive grown Nirvana Ice, Crystal, and WW. Even though I get all my gear from Sannie now, I would give Nirvana respect for those three stains alone. Really were solid seeds that turned out great. Just my 2 cents though.

You should have tried Bubblelicious before moving on

I've grown Nirvana's Ice before. Drama aside, it's a great plant, potent, with a great smell and bud density. I loved it. I actually have considered growing it again.

Yah, its a descent strain. No doubt potent they are high as fuck over there. Their marketing and customer service is terrible. with so many other quality breaders and top strains, my money going to one that can back their statements.
