night one of new lights

i got new 4 foot flourescent light ballast last night with two lights,one is cool white the other is daylight light with two cfls hanging beside the plant.all lights are at least 2 inches away from plant but bottom leaf got brown running up the edges,Are they to close?didnt happen till new lights hooked up

put your hand where your leaves are and if it burns your hand than yes if not then no it would be something else...

naw its not that hot its even at 78 degrees

well it shouldnt be the extra light it would have to be something else

can u post a pic..cause it aint a light issue i use by far more light and closer then 2" and the plants dont burn at all....

i think it looks great for first timer but thats just me its 2 weeks old reggie seeds
