Just started growin my first plant. Its an indoor sativa. Don't understand when to switch light from 18/6 to 12/12?

depends on the space you have they can stretch to three times their size when there intorduced to 12/12............i would say around 12-18" since its a sativa

I agree..about 12" giv eor take will be ok...id top it to about a week before you flip the lights to 12/12

What strain is it?

I can tell you my Cinderella gets flipped at 11" and she is now 31"...some will get taller
