NEWBIE with drip setup...LOTS of questions

i am doing 12 plants in 3 gallon buckets. i have 3 m.h. lights that i will be running.. (400w). i will be using mega bloom (i think) nutrients from start to finish (suggestions of a friend, open to others), and will be running 24hrs straight light for 6 weeks of veg and 8-10 weeks of flower, and would like to net 2lbs. i have a 12" oscalating fan, and a 6" inline fan with filter as well...

my questions are:

when checking pH do i check the water that the nutes are in, dipping the ph stick in the resovior?

how long should i veg/flower?

what nutes would you guys suggest? i will be starting a grow journal this week as i am waiting til friday to pick up my clones from a dispensary.

if i have other questions i plan on posting here. thanks guys

im using a fish tank pump in a 25gal resovior...

how long between watering intervals?

how long do i water for?

(example:water for 15 minutes/every hour/24hours)

I think you'll be getting about 1lb or herb off that. A 400W light for 12 plants is not ideal, a 600W would get you very close to the 2lb mark. I just dont want you to set your hopes high and fall short.

Also, I've found that the plants grow better on an 18/6 or 20/4 schedule rather than 24/0.

For pH, yes. You check levels after all your ferts and nutes are mixed in. How long you veg is all up to where you're growing and how much light you have. 400W is not enough to flower 12 plants any larger than say vegged to 10-12"

yes you check the PH in the rez.

u should veg depending on your space

and as for nutes u need alot more then a bloom, thats more for when you start to flower

u realy need a 3 part nute program at least. just my point of veiw

I'm actually using 3-400w lights. 4 plants per light later parts of veg and flowering. Only 2 lights for first part of veg. Wat nutes do you suggest with what bloom boosters? Also where can I find their feed scheudle
