Hi all. Myself along with a couple of friends have just started our first grow, and I have a (hopefully) simple but severely newbie question regarding ventilation.
My cabinet is 1m (h) x 0.5m (d) x 2m (l) (call it 20 x 40 x 80 inches). It's divided into three smaller sections, the two outer ones being 0.5 m wide and the central section being 1 m long. The plan is as follows: The left-hand section will be used for vegging a single plant, the central one for flowering two or possibly three plants, and the right-hand section will be used as a curing/drying room, as well as housing the electrics (power strips, rcds and timers), as well as the carbon scrubber.
For ventilation, I was planning to do it like this: the fan of the carbon scrubber will be connected directly to the divider between the middle and right-hand sections, actively sucking the air from the flowering chamber and passing it through the carbon scrubber. The air from the left-hand vegging chamber will be simply blown through an s-shaped pipe directly into the middle chamber with two small axial fans, one on either end.
My question is: will venting the vegging chamber directly into the flowering chamber have any effect on the flowering plants? The air will be coming from a small area with a vegging plant in it and will be blown, unfiltered, into a room with 2-3 flowering plants in it.
I appreciate any help anyone might have.
