Newbie question curing and drying

would an air conditioner work to circulate air, dry and keep excess moisture out ? or should I invest in getting a fan
Ive got the ac set at 72 cool
it goes on about every 2 hours to keep that temperature lasts for about 20-30 minutes
its on its first day of curing. how long will it take before its ready to be jarred to finish?
i can get pictures later if it would help answer questions

a cool dark place with a constant temp of 60 degrees for two weeks, then jar it for 2 months and don't burp the jar. or maybe for a couple of times after the 14 days drying burp the jar. but weed is just the same as everything else air will degrade it.
