I'm a complete beginner. I have my grow area built and ready with a flowering section and a veg section with an NFT system in each, my plan was to germinate my seeds in my propogator (rockwool), transplant into the veg NFT (which is half the size of the flowering one), maybe 2-4 weeks in there (so far so good I reckon - the next bit is the bit I'm now uncertain of), transplant into the flowering NFT to finish.
So really my question is how can I successfully move the plants from one NFT system to the other without killing them or destroying the root system. Will the roots be attached to the spreader matt ? Tangled together ? Should I modify the small NFT top tray to train the roots and keep them seperated ? Am I being dumb thinking this will work ?
The NFT's are Nutriculture GT systems...
Any advice or guidance would be great...
