Hi, iam really winging it, but learning, lovein it and got buds. Its my next moves i'am concerned about. Heres want i got. I am in the corner of an unheated garage, in a box 4'wx30"dx4'6"h built out of 2" rigid insulation, with a 3' thermostat controlled electric base heater (temp. outside at night 0 C or colder), i have 3- 2' florescent light bulbs 3" away, got 2-80mm computer fans for air movement, 1-homemade carbon exhaust filter with 80mm computer fan. My soil after transplant is 45% MG Organic, 40% Sunshine Natural and Organic planting mix and 15% playsand, more pics and info(https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/379180-made-few.html).They have been on plain distilled water for 2 weeks, transplanted 1 week ago. Before that the were on nutes for 2 weeks of MG 15- 30-15, I think i gave it to fast, plants didn't look as good ,so i stopped. In the vegy stage i feed them MG 24-8-16. Sure hope i'am posting this right. My concerns are (#1) just got a PH kit and my water is real low ,I want to use baking soda to bring it up but not sure where to start with how much soda. (#2) i have to water tomorrow and i'am thinking of giving them 1/4 nutes or should i wait? (#3) My plants look a little sick, lower leaves are dry, upper leaves are coming better, new growth is slow and buds are now growing. Please advise...

Get some ph up. The nuts your adding is dropping that distilled waters ph a lot. Plants maybe in lock out...which in return is making growth slow. I would feed them straight water with the ph around 6-6.5 a couple of times then go back to feeding nuts once you can get your ph up

Thanks ,any idea on how much soda i should start with to test like tsp or?.I don't want to start with to much

My mother Train Wreck I have in soil. Never really check PH, but noticed I should. It was off by a point and a half under, so I threw a good amount of hydro PH up and added it to the soil. It worked great and threw it right were it likes it. I would say go to your local hydro shop and buy a little bottle, its like 12 dollars and well worth it in the end. Just saying...

People say it works, but they make the GH PH up and only trust there stuff. People who are cheap use soda, and the PH up is only 12 dollars. Just saying...

If saving money is a concern try ebay I bought 2 gallons 1 of ph up another of ph down for 9 bucks to me that's a steal

Get advanced nutes then you won't have to mess around with ph it will go to the perfect ph,why do grower's not use advanced more most grower's that i have heard diss advanced can not have used them or they would love the stuff. But if you still wanna go with another nute then get some ph up or buy in some water and add this to yr own and it will raise the ph with out adding anything peace tyke......................................
