Hey, I've got $1650 to spend on a grow room. The space that I have is in a rented trailer. I can't cut any holes in the trailer so keep that in mind. I've got one 10 x 10 room to work with. I'd like to do a soil grow or soilless mix grow but haven't completely ruled out hydro I just figured that it would be cheaper , less likely to mess up the trailer and simpler for a first indoor grow. I guess I can knock off about 250-300 right now for an ac unit. I already have seeds but I'd like to include growing medium and nutrients in the amount as well. I'd to include a cloning setup and a means of keeping a mother. Thanks in advance.

HID is gonna be cheapest, especially if you're already bugeting for AC. Not being ale to cut holes for ventilation means you need to be looking at a sealed grow or using a window or something ghetto. As far as cloning a DIY bubble cloner from a rubbermaid rub should produce all the clones you need. And finally for a mother get like a wardrobe box from Uhaul and throw it in there. Its cheap and you can control its light cycle. Several CFLs should be enough light to get side shoots going and you're ready to take some clones

If you dont want to cut holes for your ventilation you could run your intake and exhaust through your ceiling vents or at least your bathroom vent.
I would invest money on 6-400 w switchable ballasts and wing hoods. You'd be right in spending zone by the time you got your media, pots, fans, wing reflectors, ph testers, reflective materials, etc
