Newbie need advice

hey im curently growing autos on 18/6, and have a green poison and white dominia seed i live in the midwest and and wondering if I could just grow it under a hps on 18/6 until spring comes around and I can put it outside because I just dont have the room for a huge plant thats why I went with autos but outside I got all the room I could ever ask for.Its only a few months till spring if I shouldnt have started it now im just gonna grow it by itself once my autos are done. and if I started it too soon when should I start it and how long should I grow it before I put it outside? and is it safe to do that because of the light change? hps to sunlight I duno im new at this grew a few bagseeds outside but just planted em right in the soil midsummer and they were tiny and barely started to bud before I had deer diggin at the roots and killed them. :finger:

I think people may find the wording of your question a bit confusing. I had to read it several times. That's probably why nobody has responded.

Are you basically asking when you should start your photoperiod seeds in the Midwest? And whether you can start them earlier indoors under an hps, and then transplant them outdoors?

I don't live in the Midwest, so I don't really know. My guess would be that you should be safe planting outdoors after the last frost. Many growers start their plants indoors and transplant later to the outdoors.

In any event, if you keep searching this site, you will find the answer to your question.

If its a few months until spring surely your autos will b done?

That's why it's confusing. I think his discussion of the autos has nothing to do with his question. He's asking about growing the green poison and white domina seeds, which are NON autos.

I would give them 6 weeks of indoor veg before placing them outdoors. That should give them a good head start.

Thanks little tommy yes I was asking how long because I planted the green poison like a retard without doing any research. spring is in a few months do you think I could veg it inside on an 18/6 schedule with my autos until I can put it outside I duno if its gonna be to big to transport or if it will do crappy being so old....or if it will just get like big inside then grow to be a giant outside? ne thoughts or past expierence will be appreciated.

They do not care what else you have growing in there. If you start them too early they may get too big to manage so six weeks should be about the right amount of time. I hope you get trees outside, I cannot grow outside where I live - wish I could do that! One grow would last me a year if they were trees.
