newbie looking for some help

this is my first attempt a an indoor grow, everything seems fine, but i was hoping some of you more experienced guys(and girls) out there could look at a couple of my pics and tell me what you think. i would also love to know what strain these are if you can tell. Does anybody think these plants seem small for 3 weeks old? I'm using 2 outdoor 65 watt cfl's that claim to put out 500 watts of light with 6825 lumens each, and 2 4foot shop lights with daylight tubes( 4 tubes total). any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks :bigjoint:

they look fine for the amount of time. and there is no way of telling the strain by looking a t it.

Everything looks good, and your plants look right on target for a soil grow with CFL's. Do you plan on topping them at all? If so now's the time to do it - you can do this method here, and get four main colas easily:

damn she's pretty! i can't wait till mine looks like that. i just topped mine about 2 days ago, and already there are two new "tops" coming up. if you look close at the first pic you can see the new growth. how long should i wait until i start flowering? thanks for the help

Thanks! Sorry I missed that - kinda hard to tell when it's first done. How long you veg for is up to you, and how tall your flowering space is. Once they enter flower, they shoot up to two, or sometimes even three, times their height. You can counter this somewhat by topping, and then LST - I'm not very good at explaining that one, but if you search the site there are some great threads written on it. Anyway - it's up to you really. Personally I veg for eight weeks before flower. :peace:
