Newbie hydro grow... Help.. Please?

im not sure if the bottom side is supposed to be this color but the top side is nice and green. I havent seen any growth in a day or 2 im starting to think something is wrong. So i took out the sponge thing it was in and put it in a rockwool hoping for good results. I also changed the water and checked the ph. DWC grow btw. Any ideas? Or tips

idk what you planted tht in but changing it to rockwool should help just make sure ur ph levels are right, and also the seed looks fine it just hasnt fully developed yet PROBABLY but make sure if it doesnt fix itself reply to this

ok thanks alot... i threw that brown think away and its in rockwool now hopefully it does fix it self. how long should it take to be back to normal?

its not the plug ive used rapid rooters in hydro for years and have 90+ % germ rate hope you didnt break the tap root shock will ensue

no none of the tap root was broken it was longer from when i planted it tho

and i dont know if those are even "rapid rooters" they were available for purchase individually so i grabbed a couple

only trick with those rooters is watch for stem rot as the plant grows i widen the hole around the stem and once the plant gets big enough i peel it away so there is no chance of rot
