I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a lapse of health insurance until Jan 1st and have terrible back pain due to apulled muscle (I think). Going to the Dr and getting a prescription is out of my financial means... is there a site I can buy a few pain killers without having to go get a Dr's Prescription?

Well you could get them over the silk road but honestly going to a doctor and paying for the script would probably be cheaper. Pharm opioids are absurdly overpriced. A visit to a doctor is probably going to cost about $100-$150 and if they write you a prescription for something generic you'll be able to fill it for less than $20, probably less than $10.

As Psy said, Silkroad.

Also, a hospital can NOT refuse service. You might call local hospitals and see if any of them have financial aid available. I know where I live there's a place that gives free psychiatry, counseling, medical and dental. Look and you will find.

Alembic, they can't refuse service but an ER visit costs a lot more than a visit to doctor's office. And a lot of doctors will work with you if you're an established patient and need to work out a payment plan or something.
OP, try using heat and something for inflammation like Motrin or Aleve and try stretching (initially doing this in a hot shower is REALLY HELPFUL) as they will help you heal and get better. Painkillers can actually be counter productive as they can make you feel ok and cause you to aggravate the injury without you realizing it.

Instead of getting hooked on pharms, why dont you try kratom? It has better painkilling properties than pharms... and it won't ruin your life.

but, yeah there are tons of places to buy pills online, and on the streets. I was hooked for 4 1/2 years $900 day habit... never had a doctor. Nobody will tell you where though... or those places wouldn't exist.

Good luck... sorry about your pain.
