newbie help!!!!!!! indoor starting to outdoor growing

i am very new to growing i put some seeds in a cup with potting soil and all of them sprouted i put i regular flo. light bulb on them and they are about 2 inches tall and they have 2 big leaves on them they look ok but i think it is to tall to be 2 week old plants i am going to put them outside but it has been a little cold down here in north carolina so i took them off of the light and put them in a window for a little while can i go ahead and put them out and if it drops below 50 bring them in or just put something over them they look healthy but a little tall or is that just normal

yeah, i heard you guys down there lost most of your apple crop.i threw seeds out last fall and they came up last week of march and they are sure as shit dead right now(indiana) looks like its going to warm up middle of next week. goodluck
