Newbie growing problems

Hey everyone
I am new to growing and have my first seedling planted but I think it may be under some stress because the cotyledons turned yellow, dried up and fell off. I also noticed the next set of leaves were yellowing on the tips and have monitored it over the last few days and you can see by the photos it’s getting worse.

- Seedling is approximately 3 weeks old
- Temperature was a little warm in the room at around 86F but I have reduced temperature to around 78F the last 3-4 days since yellowing of leaves started.
- Runoff ph is 7
- Humidity is 40%
- Just transplanted from Jiffy Pod to larger pot once yellowing started (though it could be lack of nutrients)
- Haven’t fertilized except a little organic fertilizer that was mixed into potting soil
- Using a 1000W LED light. I had the light at 100% power until about 6 days ago but have since turned it down to about 25% power. (I wasn’t sure if the LED could burn the seedling)

I’ll attach pictures. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Looks to me as if your putting your seedlings under too much stress! The lights are way to close and the high temps will always take some time to recover from for any plant, let alone a seedling!. Adjust the light height, keep the temps down and hope they can recover from the heat stress! Good luck Bro!

Thanks Steveo! I was thinking it was heat stress also. How far away should I place the light? Should I keep it around 25% or bump that up?

Do you have any manufactory guidance with your lights? I’d move the lights to the 16-18inch mark and hit 50% on the power! Try to keep the temp down 70-72 degrees mark and they should pick up on the growth. Just make sure as they grow adjust the lighting as necessary.
